Exhibition in Portsmouth University
This is a picture I took on the exhibition in Portsmouth
University.
I really like the way my work is displayed. It is in the area with the artefact with the same subject matters as mine. What I love about it is the spotlights pointed on my model making the design looking very professional. The lights create many shadows on the model which makes it the impression of a real building as if the light is a sun. I really like this effect.
The elements around my artefact complements my project especial the colours and the shapes of it. In the same time the sits allow the viewers sit down around my work and reflect on it.
I really like the fact that my artefact is placed in the corridor of the university because it is seen by hundreds of student each day passing by the corridor.
This is a close up view of the designing board which explain my model very well. It makes the viewer understand my project more and actually visual the lobby.
Those two pictures show the close up view of the model. I think is great that it is placed tinted and on the plinth which makes it look very professional like in a gallery
In my opinion the exhibition in Portsmouth University was very successful and I’m very happy and privileged to be part of it. The privet view was a susses, many people turn up and the performance from different colleges entertain all of the gests. Overall it was very good experience and I have learned a lot from it. I am sure I will benefit from this experience in the future.
